About Us

PeterheadRotary.org was setup by Rotary Club of Peterhead to provide information to Rotarian and the general public on Rotary matters, help support Rotary charities and local Good Causes. Past and current projects include

• POLIO PLUS: Project run to eradicate Polio from the world.
  
• RYLA:  We send two young students to Abernethy Outdoor Centre to learn leadership skills.
  
• COMMUNITY: Running an old folk’s tea party where a nice tea and entertainment is provided.
  
• INTERNATIONAL: Providing funding for many worthwhile projects. "Nepal water aid", "Jaipur limbs", Mercyships, Lifestraws and Shelterboxes to name a few.
  
• FOUNDATIION: This is Rotary International's core charity. This provides assisted support for a Club's international project by providing matching grants. Runs a number of educational exchange programs that are designed to further international good will and understanding and lots more.
